Toronto’s waterfront is getting a major new attraction this summer. Queens Harbour, a massive 23,000-square-foot restaurant, officially opens on Friday, July 11. With space for 800 guests and Canada’s largest retractable rooftop, it’s already turning heads. The restaurant promises more than food—it offers a full dining experience with CN Tower views and striking design.

Designed with Guests in Mind

Queens Harbour was founded by Ali Badreddine, Kevin Jazexhi, and Iris Jazexhi. Their shared mission is simple: put the guest first. They’ve designed every detail of the space to feel welcoming and comfortable.

Inside, guests enter a large, stylish bar surrounded by earth-toned banquettes, cozy tables, and indoor trees. Large windows flood the space with natural light and offer views of the lake.

For private events, the upper floor has two private dining rooms and one semi-private room. These spaces work well for everything from quiet dinners to big celebrations.

Food and Atmosphere

At the heart of the restaurant is a bright open kitchen and sushi bar. Here, chefs prepare meals with care and fresh ingredients. The menu mixes Mediterranean and Asian flavors and is meant to be shared.

The menu includes fresh seafood towers, creative sushi rolls, and flavorful platters made for groups. Chef Robert Balint and collaborator Julien Laffargue bring global inspiration to every dish.

Once guests pass the kitchen, they’ll reach Queens Garden, a two-level space with a custom-designed retractable roof. This area offers the same food and drinks but creates a completely different mood—especially in the evenings.

A Thoughtful Location

Queens Harbour is located right on Toronto’s Harbourfront. That decision was intentional. The team wanted a spot where guests could feel a true connection to the city. “We wanted to create something that evolves throughout the day,” says co-founder Kevin Jazexhi.

The waterfront adds to the restaurant’s appeal with its calming views and central location. “It’s deeply connected to Toronto,” adds Iris Jazexhi.

A Boost for the Community

The restaurant is also part of a bigger vision for the area. Harbourfront Centre’s CEO Cathy Loblaw sees Queens Harbour as an important piece of the area's growth. “It contributes something truly special,” she says. The restaurant adds fresh energy and style to a space that’s already popular with locals and tourists alike.

Bold Flavors and Inventive Drinks

Queens Harbour takes its food seriously—but doesn’t stop there. The drink menu is just as creative. Guests can choose from signature cocktails, rare spirits, and a diverse wine list.

Whether you're into something bright and fruity or bold and smoky, there’s a drink to match your mood. The team has also created non-alcoholic cocktails full of flavor, perfect for anyone skipping the booze.

With its size, style, and standout menu, Queens Harbour sets a new bar for dining in Toronto. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a place to enjoy food, connect with others, and take in the beauty of the city.
