The holiday season at Starbucks officially begins on November 6, and fans of the coffee chain have plenty to celebrate. Starbucks is rolling out its festive drinks, treats, and collectables — including the long-awaited Eggnog Latte and the ever-popular Red Cup Day.

For many coffee lovers, these drinks mark the true start of the holidays. Along with the returning favourites, Starbucks is adding new seasonal options to warm up cold days and spread festive cheer.

Holiday Drinks Make a Comeback

This year’s holiday menu features a mix of returning classics and new flavours. Starting November 6, customers can enjoy:

  • Peppermint Mocha – A mix of espresso, steamed milk, mocha sauce, and peppermint syrup, topped with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
  • Caramel Brulée Latte – A creamy blend of espresso, steamed milk, and caramel brulée sauce, finished with whipped cream and crunchy caramel topping.
  • Iced Sugar Cookie Latte – Sweet sugar cookie syrup with espresso, milk, and ice, topped with festive sprinkles.
  • Iced Gingerbread Chai – A refreshing twist with spiced chai, oat milk, and gingerbread cold foam.
  • Chestnut Praline Latte – Espresso and milk mixed with caramelized chestnut flavour, topped with whipped cream and spiced praline crumbs.
  • Eggnog Latte – A returning fan favourite, made with espresso, steamed eggnog, a splash of milk, and a dusting of nutmeg.

All drinks are available hot, iced, or blended, offering something for everyone’s taste.

Red Cup Day Returns

Starbucks fans can also look forward to Red Cup Day, one of the brand’s most celebrated annual traditions. On this day, customers who purchase any handcrafted holiday beverage receive a free reusable red cup. The event, known for long lines and festive excitement, has become a symbol of the coffee chain’s holiday spirit.

Hello Kitty Joins the Holiday Fun

Starbucks is also teaming up with Hello Kitty for a limited-edition holiday collection. The collaboration blends nostalgia with festive joy, featuring themed merchandise such as tumblers, mugs, and plush toys.

Starbucks is releasing new Hello Kitty holiday items, including a cold cup for $24.95, a stainless steel tumbler, a plush toy for $34.95, and a ceramic mug priced at $32.95. Starbucks

“Both brands were born in the 1970s and share a love for connection and fun,” said Kap Pitarys, Starbucks’ director of merchandise. “We wanted to create something that feels joyful and nostalgic.”

The collection includes items like a Hello Kitty plush in a Starbucks apron ($34.95), a ceramic mug ($32.95), and a stainless steel cold cup ($24.95). The items will be available in participating Starbucks locations in Canada and the U.S. starting November 6, while supplies last.

Festive Treats and Retail Offerings

Starbucks bakeries will also feature returning favourites such as the Snowman Cookie, Cranberry Bliss Bar, and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, alongside new treats like the Polar Bear Cake Pop and Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread.

For those eager to bring the flavours home early, Starbucks’ holiday coffees and creamers — including Hazelnut Cocoa and Chestnut Praline Latte Creamer — are already available at major grocery stores across Canada.
