At precisely 4:30 p.m., ten of the Italian jets took to the skies, painting the Toronto skyline with vibrant red, white, and green trails. The airshow, which lasted for about an hour, drew eyes from all over the city. The last time Toronto saw the Frecce Tricolori in action was in 1986 when they were part of the CIAS lineup. This recent appearance marked a long-awaited return for the famed team. Colonel Stefano Pietropaoli of the Aeronautica Militare expressed excitement about the comeback, saying, "Our personnel and cutting-edge equipment can be rapidly deployed anywhere in the world, ensuring our ability to operate effectively in any global location. We are excited to return to Toronto after 38 years, flying the Frecce over the skyline."
