Paramount+ has announced that Season 2 of 1923, the prequel to Yellowstone created by Taylor Sheridan, will premiere on February 23, 2025. New episodes will be released weekly. To build anticipation, the streaming service has shared a glimpse of the upcoming season with two new teasers and a selection of photos.

In the second season, a brutal winter creates even more obstacles for Jacob (Harrison Ford) and Cara (Helen Mirren) as they continue to manage the Dutton ranch. As the weather worsens and enemies close in, Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) embarks on a difficult journey back home to protect his family. Meanwhile, Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) sets out on a dangerous transatlantic voyage to reunite with Spencer and rekindle their relationship.

The season also features performances from Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Michelle Randolph, Sebastian Roché, Timothy Dalton, and Jennifer Carpenter.

In addition to the premiere, Paramount Network will air the first season of 1923 starting December 8, right after a new episode of Yellowstone.
