Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt have officially announced their engagement after years of dating in private. The couple, who have long kept their relationship out of the public eye, decided to take their relationship to the next level over the Christmas week. Hannity, 62, proposed to Earhardt, 48, at a church in his home state of Florida, making the occasion even more special.
In a heartfelt statement to Fox News, the couple expressed their happiness and gratitude for the love and support they’ve received from their families. "We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives," they said. The couple also revealed that their children have been supportive of the engagement and couldn’t be happier for them. Hannity shares two children, Patrick and Merri, with his ex-wife Jill Rhodes. The couple had been married for over 20 years before they divorced in 2019. Meanwhile, Earhardt has a daughter named Hayden from her marriage to Will Proctor. The couple married in 2012, but after separating in 2018, they finalized their divorce in 2019. Both Earhardt and Hannity mentioned that they maintain good relationships with their ex-spouses and had informed them about the engagement in advance.

Although their relationship was kept private, it had been no secret among their close circles. Back in 2020, a source close to Hannity and Earhardt revealed that they had been dating for years, even though they publicly denied it. The source said, “He's very private because he's very famous and he's very controversial, but it's been an open secret that they have been seeing each other." In fact, the couple spent much of their time together in private, with a source sharing that they had been seeing each other for more than just a few months.

Their relationship grew even closer during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Earhardt hosted her Fox & Friends show from the basement of Hannity’s Long Island mansion. It was during this time that they spent even more time together and their bond deepened. Hannity and Earhardt share similar religious beliefs, and for them, the church was the perfect setting for such a meaningful moment. After the proposal, the couple met with their minister, further solidifying their faith-based connection.

In 2019, Earhardt spoke publicly about her desire to find love again and her hope of demonstrating a loving relationship with her daughter, Hayden. She had also expressed interest in having more children in the future. Now, with the engagement announcement, the couple is beginning this exciting new chapter in their lives, supported by their children and families.

As the couple looks forward to their future together, fans and loved ones are celebrating the news, sharing in their happiness as they prepare to embark on this new journey together.
