Reality TV star Teddi Mellencamp has revealed that she is undergoing surgery to remove multiple brain tumors. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared the news on Instagram, opening up about her recent health struggles.
Mellencamp explained that she had been experiencing severe headaches for several weeks. The pain became unbearable, leading to her hospitalization. After undergoing a CT scan and MRI, doctors discovered multiple tumors in her brain. According to her, the growths may have been developing for at least six months.
In her heartfelt post, Mellencamp confirmed that two of the tumors would be surgically removed immediately. The remaining smaller ones will be treated with radiation at a later stage. She expressed gratitude for her loved ones, medical team, and supporters. “I feel blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health. Thank you to everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey”.
Mellencamp is well-known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which she starred in from 2017 to 2020. She is the daughter of legendary musician John Mellencamp and has appeared on several other reality shows, including Celebrity Big Brother, Vanderpump Rules, and Celebrity Family Feud. Additionally, she co-hosts the popular Bravo podcast Two T’s in a Pod alongside Tamra Judge, a star from The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Beyond reality TV, Mellencamp has built a successful career in the fitness and wellness industry. She is the founder of All In by Teddi, a lifestyle company focused on health and accountability.
