Hamilton is set to host the Juno Awards in 2026, bringing Canada’s biggest music celebration back to the city for the seventh time. The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) has confirmed that Hamilton Arena, formerly First Ontario Centre, will be the venue for the event. The arena is currently undergoing a $290-million renovation and is expected to reopen later this year.
Hamilton’s Strong Music Legacy
The last time the Junos were held in Hamilton was 2015. According to Juno Awards CEO Allan Reid, the city's rich cultural heritage and vibrant music scene make it an ideal host.
"Hamilton has a dynamic music community that aligns perfectly with the Junos’ spirit," Reid stated.
Juno Week 2026 will run from March 26 to March 29, featuring various live performances and industry events before the awards ceremony.
What’s Happening in 2025?
Before Hamilton takes the stage in 2026, the 2025 Juno Awards will take place on March 30, 2025, in Vancouver at Rogers Arena. This marks the fifth time the city has hosted the event.
Michael Bublé, the Grammy-winning singer and Vancouver native, will host the ceremony for the third time. The event will feature performances by top Canadian artists and will air live on CBC and stream on CBC Gem.
