Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, allegedly asked cryptocurrency influencer Tiffany Fong if she would have a child with him. This request came despite the two never meeting in person, according to a new report. Fong, a 31-year-old with over 335,000 followers on social media platform X, is known for her cryptocurrency coverage and exclusive interviews.
The situation began when Musk started following Fong on X in the summer. He frequently interacted with her posts, which included content supporting the MAGA movement. This increased her visibility and earned her $21,000 in just two weeks as her follower count grew. Musk’s interaction with Fong seemed to boost her presence on the platform.
In November, Musk reportedly sent Fong a direct message, asking her if she would have a child with him. Fong, who had never met Musk before, was taken aback by the request and said no. She told fellow influencer Ashley St Clair that she wanted a more traditional family. However, Fong also expressed concerns that rejecting Musk's proposal could negatively affect her earnings on X.
The situation took a turn for the worse when Fong's fears seemed to come true. Musk unfollowed her and reportedly reprimanded her for telling others about his request. Following this, Fong’s earnings on X began to drop.
Fong later confirmed in an interview that she did not share the story with the press and would have preferred to keep the matter private. She also spoke about her experiences covering high-profile crypto cases, including the trial of Sam Bankman-Fried. Bankman-Fried, a former crypto exchange CEO, is serving a 25-year prison sentence for orchestrating a major fraud scheme.
This revelation comes amidst other drama involving Musk’s personal life. Ashley St Clair, another influencer, went public earlier this year with claims that Musk had offered her $15 million for her silence after he allegedly fathered a child with her. St Clair also revealed that Musk offered $100,000 a month until the child turned 21. Musk has denied the claims about the child, although paternity tests reportedly showed a 99.9999% chance that the child is his.
Musk has 14 children with four women, and he has expressed concerns about the global decline in birth rates. He has spoken openly about his belief that a shrinking population is a serious threat to civilization and has also shared his vision of making humanity a multi-planetary species by sending people to Mars.
The story about Fong’s interaction with Musk sheds light on some of the more unusual aspects of Musk's personal life, while also raising questions about the pressures of being connected to such a high-profile figure.
