Former U.S. President Donald Trump has denied writing a birthday letter mentioned in a recent news report. The story claimed a sexually suggestive note signed by Trump appeared in a 2003 album created for Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday.

Trump called the report “false, malicious and defamatory.” He said the note was fake and insisted, “These are not my words. Also, I don’t draw pictures.”

The letter, allegedly part of a birthday gift compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell, included a drawing of a naked woman and ended with, “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Trump Threatens to Sue, Blasts Report

Trump posted a sharp response online Thursday night. He claimed to have spoken directly with the news outlet’s owner and editor, telling them the story was untrue. He also promised legal action.

Supporters, including Vice-President JD Vance, backed him. Vance asked, “Where is this letter?” and said the story didn’t match Trump’s voice or style.

Tensions Rise Over Epstein Case Records

The letter is only part of a bigger issue. Trump’s administration has faced pressure over the lack of transparency around the Epstein investigation. His team once promised to release documents but has since held back, frustrating many allies and voters.

Trump had once criticized officials pushing for more disclosure. But the growing anger from his supporters pushed him to change course.

He now says U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi should release more Epstein-related information — specifically grand jury transcripts — if a judge approves.

Bondi Faces Questions Over Missing Files

Attorney General Bondi plans to ask the court for permission to release certain grand jury documents. However, she stayed quiet on other evidence gathered during the investigation.

Bondi had earlier said she would not release these materials. That decision led to frustration within Trump’s circle and tension inside the White House. Last week, Bondi and FBI deputy director Dan Bongino reportedly argued behind closed doors.

Earlier in the year, Bondi gave out folders labeled “Epstein Files: Phase 1” to right-leaning influencers, promoting transparency. Now, months later, few new details have been made public.

Background on Epstein and Maxwell

Jeffrey Epstein died in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking underage girls. Ghislaine Maxwell, his close associate, was arrested in 2020 and convicted the following year. She was found guilty of helping Epstein lure girls for abuse.

The birthday album in question dates back to 2003, before Epstein’s first arrest in 2006. At that time, Trump and Epstein were still on friendly terms.

Fallout May Hurt Trump’s Base

The lack of action on the Epstein files has upset many of Trump’s supporters. Some believe the delay could affect Republican support in the coming elections. For now, the former president faces questions over a letter he says he never wrote — and a promise of transparency that remains unfulfilled.
