Country singer Dylan Marlowe cleared the air after a viral moment showed him getting escorted out of a music festival where he had just performed. The incident took place at Country Jam in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on Saturday, July 19.

Escorted by Security
Marlowe played a one-hour set in the afternoon. Later, he tried to watch Jake Owen's performance from a front-of-house viewing area with a friend named Dave. Though they had "All Access" and "Artist Credentials," a security guard insisted they leave the spot. Marlowe posted a video of the moment online, where security could be seen grabbing his shirt while leading him out. The clip also captured Owen shouting, “That’s Dylan Marlowe,” from the stage.

Why He Deleted the Video
The next day, Marlowe posted another video on TikTok explaining the situation. He said he removed the original video because it didn’t feel fair to the festival, adding that the issue came from “one bad apple” and not the entire event.

What Really Happened
Marlowe said he and Dave were only watching Owen’s set from a small tower and trying not to get in the way. Security told them to leave, even after they explained they had valid credentials. The guard told them to go to the pit instead, but Marlowe avoided it to not distract fans since he had just finished performing and still wore stage clothes.

Trying to avoid any disruption, they moved to a lower level. However, the same guard found them again and asked them to leave the area entirely. Police officers then showed up and escorted them out at the request of the guard.

Things Got Heated
Marlowe admitted the conversation turned tense. “There were definitely a few heated words exchanged,” he said. “I was rude back after he was rude to me.” He explained that while he did lose his cool, he regretted it and apologized for his reaction.

No Hard Feelings
Marlowe stressed that he holds no grudges. “We had a great time,” he said about the festival. He even said he forgave the security guard involved in the incident. He clarified that posting the video came from frustration, not pride or ego. “I don’t expect anyone to know who I am,” he added. “It was just frustrating to be removed despite wearing the right credentials.”

What’s Next?
Marlowe made it clear he has no ongoing issue with the event or its organizers. He thanked fans for their support and ended his video on a positive note. Other performers at the event included Craig Morgan, Tigirlily Gold, and Sam Hunt.
