Jason Isaacs on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live.' Youtube

Jason Isaacs had late-night television audiences laughing as he revealed that a second flashing scene was filmed for The White Lotus, but never made it to screen.

The actor, nominated for an Emmy for his role as Timothy Ratliff, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where guest host Tiffany Haddish wasted no time addressing his much-discussed full-frontal scene. The original moment, which showed Isaacs’ character accidentally exposing himself to his on-screen children, became one of the most talked-about moments of the season.

Tiffany Haddish Pushes for Details

Although Isaacs has often avoided direct conversation about the scene, Haddish pressed him relentlessly for answers. At one point, she even sprayed the actor with water while asking if he had used a prosthetic.

“It made another appearance,” Isaacs finally admitted, referring to a second filmed scene. He explained that the moment was even funnier because his on-screen children shouted, “Dad, put it away!” However, the sequence was cut because “the rest of the scene didn’t work.”

The actor joked that he confronted series creator Mike White afterward, saying, “Mike, you cut my second dick scene!” Haddish, delighted by his willingness to finally discuss it, laughed and told him, “You never can talk about penis too much with me.”

Internet Can’t Stop Talking About It

Ever since the episode aired in March, speculation has been rampant online. Was it Isaacs’ real body on display, or a prosthetic? Fans debated endlessly, fueling one of the show’s most talked-about storylines.

Isaacs addressed the frenzy during an appearance on CBS Mornings, noting that “It’s all over the internet,” before shifting the focus to what he described as a double standard.

Isaacs Points to Hollywood Double Standards

Isaacs argued that while men’s nudity becomes a hot topic, women’s performances often face different treatment. He pointed to actors like Mikey Madison and Margaret Qualley, whose on-screen nudity hasn’t sparked the same type of scrutiny.

“We never talk about women’s bodies in the same way,” he said. “It’s odd there’s such a double standard.”

Clarifying His Comments

After sparking backlash for those remarks, Isaacs later clarified his stance. Speaking with Variety, he admitted that his choice of words had been poor.

“I said the wrong words in the wrong way,” he explained. “Women have been monstrously exploited on screen in ways men haven’t. My point wasn’t that men have it worse — that would be absurd.”

Isaacs added that he regretted naming the actresses directly, saying he held great respect for both. “Women have had a monstrous time on camera forever,” he said. “I hope that’s finally changing.”

Co-Stars Confirm the Truth

Isaacs’ younger co-stars have since ended the speculation. In an interview with TV Insider, Sam Nivola and Sarah Catherine Hook confirmed the actor had indeed worn a prosthetic.

“It was a prosthetic,” Hook said, laughing. “He was very excited about it. I think he even took pride in it.” Nivola added with amusement, “He’d say, ‘It’s my fake dick scene today!’”

Despite the cuts, Isaacs’ performance — prosthetic or not — has made a lasting impression on audiences and awards voters alike, proving that even deleted scenes can spark unforgettable conversations.
