Rescue teams in Squamish, British Columbia, continue efforts to locate three missing mountaineers last observed on May 31, despite temporarily halting physical searches. Squamish Search and Rescue has modified tactics due to perilous terrain and changing weather conditions. They are now scrutinizing video footage from aerial searches conducted via aircraft and drones in hopes of finding the climbers.

According to Squamish Search and Rescue, the terrain where searches were being conducted remains hazardous due to temperature fluctuations, shifting rapidly from cool to hot. The group mentions that the search will recommence when weather and terrain conditions permit rescuers to resume operations.

Search efforts were suspended on Thursday due to significant challenges posed by unstable conditions on Mount Garibaldi, the last known location of the three mountaineers. The police have refrained from releasing the names of the missing individuals, and the families have requested privacy during this challenging period.
