Azamara Cruises is set to introduce a unique travel experience with its first-ever cruise planned by a travel advisor, scheduled for the summer of 2026. This special 11-day voyage, called “Mysteries & Lore,” will take travellers through the beautiful French Riviera and has been crafted by Erica Lane, the winner of the 2023 “Chart Your Own Course” sweepstakes.
The cruise will kick off from Rome on April 17, 2026, and promises an exciting journey filled with stunning sights and rich culture. Passengers will have the opportunity to explore several picturesque destinations, including Corsica, Menton, Marseille, St. Tropez, Cannes, and more. One of the highlights of this itinerary is an overnight stay in the glamorous city of Monte Carlo, allowing guests to soak in the luxurious atmosphere of this famous destination.

This initiative came about after Azamara Cruises encouraged travel advisors to create their own custom itineraries, collaborating closely with the cruise line’s leadership team in Miami. The goal was to tap into the valuable insights of travel advisors, who often know the preferences and desires of travellers best. The company’s statement emphasizes its commitment to engaging with travel advisors and incorporating their feedback into future cruise planning.

Lane expressed her excitement about designing this itinerary, emphasizing the importance of personalizing travel experiences. “This trip will not only showcase the beauty of the French Riviera but will also reflect the preferences and insights of travellers seeking unique and memorable experiences,” she stated.

Azamara Cruises has long been known for its immersive travel experiences, and this new approach signals a significant step forward in how they engage with both travel advisors and passengers. By allowing a travel advisor to curate an itinerary, they are making a bold statement about their dedication to creating personalized and meaningful journeys for their guests.

The “Mysteries & Lore” cruise represents a blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation, making it an enticing option for travellers looking to explore some of the most beautiful regions in the world. With carefully selected ports of call, guests will have ample opportunities to immerse themselves in local customs, indulge in delicious cuisine, and discover hidden gems along the way.

As the cruise approaches, travellers can expect further details about onboard activities, excursions, and exclusive experiences designed to enhance their journey. This innovative venture marks a new chapter for Azamara Cruises, reflecting its dedication to crafting exceptional travel experiences that cater to the evolving preferences of today’s travellers.
