The United States is enjoying a prominent spot in global tourism for 2024. According to recent data from the World Economic Forum and the University of Surrey, the U.S. is leading as the top travel destination. This is further supported by a report from the World Travel & Tourism Council, which highlighted the country's dominance in the travel sector with an impressive $2.36 trillion contribution to the economy last year.
To delve deeper into the specifics, BookRetreats.com has identified the top 20 tourist attractions in the U.S. by analyzing 77 popular sites across the country. This evaluation considered factors such as popularity, visitor reviews, and hotel costs.

Topping the list is New York City’s Central Park, which received a high rating of 4.075 out of 5. Central Park, with its 843 acres of green space amidst the bustling city, is described as an unparalleled urban retreat. "Overall, New York’s Central Park is the most worthwhile attraction in the US," the report notes, emphasizing its unique charm.
