Ovechkin and Wilson Add Firepower

Alex Ovechkin contributed to the Capitals’ offensive surge, adding a crucial goal. Meanwhile, Tom Wilson sealed the game with two empty-net goals, helping maintain Washington’s dominance.

The defeat drops Edmonton to 2-3-0 on a challenging seven-game road trip, highlighting ongoing issues in defense and scoring consistency.
