Police arrested Saed Osman, 30, who is wanted across Canada for a mass shooting in 2022. He now faces first-degree murder charges in a 2020 killing. Alongside him, Amiir Hussen, 27, also faces murder charges.

On December 8, 2020, police responded to a weapons complaint downtown. They found Mahad Bashir Farah, 25, injured at the scene. He was rushed to the hospital but later died. An autopsy confirmed Farah died from gunshot wounds.

Osman is also wanted for a violent shooting in 2022 at the Ertale Lounge in Edmonton. About 70 bullets were fired during the attack. The shooting left Imbert George, 28, dead and injured seven others.

Police issued a $50,000 reward in November 2022 for information leading to Osman’s capture. They say Osman, also called Guled Osman or “Styles,” comes from Ontario. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Hussen’s Arrest and Charges

Hussen, arrested in Edmonton in February, remains in custody. He faces second-degree murder charges linked to the 2022 death of Leslie Victor John Whitebear in Regina.

Police urge anyone with information about Osman’s location to call Edmonton Police at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
