Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, turned heads at New York Fashion Week. The 17-year-old wore a bold Chanel look at the launch of Sofia Coppola’s book Chanel Haute Couture.

Sunday Rose arrived in a sheer crop top, black silk trousers, and open-toed heels. She paired the outfit with sunglasses and a quilted Chanel handbag. Her long curls added to her resemblance to her famous mother. She posed beside Romy Mars, daughter of Coppola, who also attended the event.
A Rising Career
This was not Sunday Rose’s first step into fashion. She debuted on the runway in October 2024 at Miu Miu’s Paris Fashion Week show. She later returned for the brand’s spring show in March and starred in an Omega campaign, a company her mother has represented for years.
Sunday Rose said her first catwalk was unforgettable. “I just wanted to do it again when I got off the runway!” she shared with Nylon.
Inspired by Her Mother
She explained that growing up around her mother’s photo shoots inspired her love for fashion. “Something I’ve always loved about fashion in general is that every brand is so different,” she said. Watching designers show their creativity sparked her interest in the industry.

Sunday Rose added that her parents set strict rules. She could not pursue modelling until age 16, and school always had to come first. “At first I hated it, but now I’m glad I have these rules. It keeps me in a good mindset,” she explained.

Nicole Kidman admitted to feeling torn about allowing her daughter to take on jobs. She told Vogue Australia that she didn’t want to “hold her back.” Keith Urban stressed the importance of education. “Keeping her firmly with schoolwork and structure and everything balanced in its place is key,” he said.
The couple, who also share a younger daughter, Faith, continue to guide Sunday Rose as she balances school and her budding fashion career.
