Three popular resorts in downtown Las Vegas have launched a new offer aimed squarely at Canadian travelers. The deal lets Canadians spend their money at full value, with no exchange rate applied. The promotion runs now through Aug. 31, 2026, and covers gaming, hotel stays, and select drinks.

The Circa Resort & Casino, the D Las Vegas, and the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino all take part in the program. Each property allows Canadians to use their dollar as if it matched the U.S. dollar, creating a simple one-to-one value on approved offers.

Personal ties behind the promotion

Derek Stevens, who owns and runs all three resorts, says his long-standing connection to Canada inspired the idea.

“Canada has always been a part of my story, so I feel a deep connection to our Canadian visitors here in Las Vegas,” says Stevens. “My father went to the University of Toronto, and I was raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, where our home looked straight across the Detroit River toward Windsor. Growing up, we could literally hear Canada—especially during Toronto baseball games—and that stayed with me.”

He says the offer aims to welcome Canadians and remove the stress that often comes with currency conversion.

Gaming perks for Canadian visitors

Canadian guests can enjoy added value on the casino floor. Each visitor may redeem up to $500 in Canadian dollars for slot play, with the full amount treated as U.S. currency. Guests must visit the rewards desk at any of the three resorts and show a valid Canadian passport or government-issued ID.

The offer applies only to participating slot machines, and some limits still apply. Guests can use the promotion during the stated period, subject to standard casino rules.

Hotel rates without exchange worries

The deal also applies to hotel stays. Canadians who book rooms at any of the three properties can pay the same number shown in U.S. dollars, but the hotel charges the amount directly in Canadian dollars. The rate applies at check-in, and staff must confirm Canadian citizenship with proper identification.

The hotel offer covers room rates only and allows unlimited stays during the promotion period. Guests still pay taxes and fees as usual.

Drinks priced at par

Select bars also honor the one-to-one pricing. These include BarCanada at the D Las Vegas, a hockey-themed sports bar that celebrates Canadian culture. The deal also applies at Overhang at Circa and Bar Prohibition! At Golden Gate.

Canadian guests can use the beverage offer more than once during each visit, as long as they show valid ID.

“At Par is about honoring that connection and removing unnecessary barriers, making sure Canadian visitors feel just as welcome downtown as they always have, without worrying about exchange rates, fine print, or doing the math at the cage,” says Stevens.
