Gary Sinise, known for his role in CSI: NY, shared a heartfelt message on the foundation's website, revealing that his son had been battling a rare form of cancer called Chordoma for five-and-a-half years. Sinise expressed the family's profound grief and the difficulty of losing a child, extending his sympathy to others who have experienced similar losses.
Mac's cancer journey was marked by resilience and determination. Despite facing numerous surgeries and ultimately becoming paralyzed from the chest down, he continued to pursue his passions.
