A 38-year-old man faces more than 150 charges connected to 72 break-ins in Peel Region. Police say the break-ins happened between April and September. Most of the crimes targeted commercial and office buildings in Brampton and Mississauga.

Details of the Charges

Daniel Irvine, who has no fixed address, faces 157 charges. These include 30 counts of breaking and entering, along with 50 counts related to outstanding bench warrants for similar crimes.

Peel Regional Police revealed these details in a statement on Thursday.

Earlier Arrest and Continued Crime

Constable Tyler Bell-Morena shared more about Irvine’s past encounters with the law. He was arrested in June after multiple break-ins in Brampton between February and May. Despite this, Irvine was released on bail and later released again.

“He was released on bail by the courts then and has been released again,” Bell-Morena said.

The officer also mentioned that Irvine might be involved in many other break-ins in nearby Halton and York regions.

Court Process Ahead

Irvine has not yet faced trial, and the charges remain unproven in court.

Police remind the public that anyone with information about these crimes should come forward. People can contact the police directly or use Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
