The playoffs are here, and Tim Hortons is stepping up its game for Canadian hockey and basketball fans. In celebration of the NHL® and NBA® playoffs, Tim Hortons has introduced limited-edition hot beverage cups to show support for local teams across Canada. Fans in four major cities—Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto—can now grab a cup representing their hometown team’s colours and playoff spirit.

Limited-Edition Cups for Canadian Playoff Teams

At participating Tim Hortons locations in these cities, fans can pick up large hot beverage cups designed specifically for their team’s playoff run. The cups feature vibrant colours and messages that capture the energy of the games.

In Edmonton, fans can show their support for the Edmonton Oilers with orange cups that proudly display the message: "Let’s Go Oilers!" Ottawa fans can cheer on the Senators with black cups that sport the words "Go Sens Go!" In Montreal, the Canadiens faithful can celebrate with red cups featuring white and blue accents along with "Go Habs Go!" And in Toronto, Raptors fans can rally behind their team with black cups showcasing the iconic "We The North" slogan.

A Double Dose of Excitement for Canadian Fans

Hope Bagozzi, the Chief Marketing Officer for Tim Hortons, expressed the excitement the brand feels for this playoff season. "As the home of the Tim Hortons Double Double®, we have twice the excitement this Playoff season for Canadian hockey and basketball fans with so many of our hometown teams battling it out for Playoff glory," Bagozzi said. "We’re so excited to join our guests in cheering for Canada’s teams throughout the Stanley Cup® Playoffs and NBA® Playoff runs."

The limited-edition cups are available now and will surely add to the excitement as fans head to Tim Hortons to fuel up before the big games.

Exclusive Offers for Tims Rewards™ Members

Starting April 18, Tim Hortons has even more surprises in store for its loyal Tims Rewards™ members. Every time a Canadian NHL® team wins a Stanley Cup® Playoff game in 2026, members will unlock exclusive offers through the Tims app. This special reward program is sure to make the playoff season even sweeter for those who are cheering on their favourite teams.

Raptors Playoff Tailgate Event

Tim Hortons will also be part of the action during the NBA® playoffs by supporting the Raptors Playoff Tailgate in Maple Leaf Square in Toronto. Fans at the event can enjoy free Tim Hortons coffee and hot chocolate while supplies last, all while cheering on the Toronto Raptors as they make their playoff push.
