The Toronto Raptors' playoff hopes were dashed in a 114-102 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 7 of their first-round series, as Cleveland advances to face Detroit in the next round.

Jarrett Allen's Double-Double Dominates
Jarrett Allen led the charge for the Cavaliers with a double-double, scoring 22 points and pulling down 19 rebounds. The Cavaliers’ victory ended Toronto’s playoff run, while Scottie Barnes did his best with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists for the Raptors.

Raptors’ Third-Quarter Collapse
Despite a tied game at halftime, the Raptors fell apart in the third quarter, being outscored 38-19. Cleveland’s dominant 11-1 run to start the second half, coupled with the Raptors' struggles, gave the Cavaliers a 19-point lead heading into the final period. Cleveland outrebounded Toronto 22-8 in that quarter, leading to 14 second-chance points.

Ingram and Quickley Out
Toronto was again without all-star Brandon Ingram, who missed the game due to right-heel inflammation. Point guard Immanuel Quickley also remained sidelined with a hamstring injury, adding to the Raptors' challenges in their playoff defeat.

The Cavaliers now head to Detroit for Game 1 of their second-round matchup against the Pistons.
